By using water atomisation instead of crushing, our FerroSilicon forms ultra-fine, spherical particles with exact size control. This boosts separation efficiency, cuts equipment wear, and simplifies medium recovery—delivering consistent quality and peak plant performance. In practice, you benefit from consistent FeSi quality, fewer fines generation, and optimized plant performance—whether you’re processing scrap metal, coal, or mineral ores.

15% Fine Water-Atomised FerroSilicon

Our 15% Fine FerroSilicon is made with 14–16% silicon for corrosion resistance and strong magnetic response. Carbon is capped at 0.90% and iron is at least 82%, while aluminum and sulfur stay below 0.05%, phosphorus under 0.10%, manganese under 0.90%, copper under 0.50%, and chromium under 0.80%—ensuring a clean, dependable medium for dense-media separation 15-fine.

Particles are tightly graded so that 99–100% pass 315 µm, 92–98% pass 150 µm, 80–90% pass 100 µm, 60–75% pass 63 µm, and 45–63% pass 45 µm. This fine mix creates a stable suspension that sharply separates materials by density 15-fine.

With a true density of at least 6.95 t/m³ and a bulk density of 3.3–4.0 t/m³, it offers strong magnetic pull (≥ 65% Satmagan) and holds non-magnetics to ≤ 0.5%. A rust index under 0.2%, dynamic stability at 500–650 rpm, and a settling rate of just 1.4–2.7 cm/min deliver long-lasting, low-wear operation and easy medium recovery
